I am just extremely proud that she made it to the TOP 24. Another great Filipino talent. This 19 year old sweet little thing is going to be a sensation, I am so sure. She's gonna make it really big!! Do you know how huge is the Filipino community in the US? And aside from being uber talented, she's got one of the most charming smiles in this American Idol Season. Adorable and I think I'd like to cut and color my hair like hers. LOL

The movie is about a young man who goes in search for a fallen star to impress the woman of his dreams by venturing into the magical realm. An imaginative fairy tale full of witches, princes, and magic spells, not to mention a happily-ever-after ending. I watched it last night with my siblings and we enjoyed it. Charming. The kind of movie I would watch 2x in one sitting. The film is based on Neil Gaiman's best selling graphic novel of the same title "STARDUST".
May not be your type but I'm such a sucker for happily-ever-after-feel-good movies so I'd recommend it you all. I love it especially the part when YVAINE (the fallen star) shines bright when she gets happy.

She started to become popular in the cyberworld when a youtuber named FALSE VOICE posted her performance singing Dreamgirls' anthem And I Am Telling You I'm Not Going on Star King, a popular show on one of the biggest television networks in Korea, SBS last October. The Korean audience was extremely wowed by her jaw-dropping performance and this made a lot of viewers post her Star King video on YouTube. This made her become even more popular that American TV network E!'s The Daily Ten featured her performance on November 14, 2007 episode, then placed her on the Hollywood Royalty segment as "A Queen Is Born" on November 16th episode. The same performance video was also featured in the Ellen DeGeneres show on November 28, 2007.
On December 19, 2007, Charice appeared live on the Ellen Degeneres Show and sang 2 songs, "And I Am Telling You I'm Not Going" and "I Will Always Love You".

I always look forward to our Christmas party in the office. It's always grand and I love the part that each of us has to dress up for the theme. 2005 party was movie theme, 2006 was Black and Tie Affair and this year, it's rock and roll!!!

The party started at around 6pm 'til 10pm, I guess. It was nice for aiMzster and lizzie, 2 of my closest ex-officemates, to come over. It's just bad that I had to work that night, we could have partied 'til the wee hours of the evening. As usual, I was sleepy the whole shift pretending that I'm working again. LOL. And then the next day after the party, having no sleep at all, they scheduled me for a 2 hour training on ESP! That is what I call major stress!!! When the trainor asked me what's the training for, I told her that my head was not functioning well and really aching, and I wasn't in the mood to talk at all, everyone in the room laughed. It wasn't my intention to embarrass her or myself but I was just so tired I couldn't really think well. See, I haven't slept in 2 days again. This is the reason why I am resigning next year. As much as I want to stay, I cannot take the shifting scheds and the working hours anymore. I say enough is enough! Aside from that, I'm missing a lot of holidays. I might be spending noche buena with some officemates this year. Yep, it's all part of the job but if I have a choice, I would definitely have it another way.

I watched this interview of Charice Pempengco on TV earlier (Boy and Kris, ABS-CBN) and it's true, Ellen Degeneres called her on the phone for a short interview! Wow! That's really something to be proud of. She first got a call from the staff and then later on, she got another one, this time, from Ellen personally. Details weren't disclosed.
Grabeyshus talaga ang power of youtube! This girl has really come a long way. She's already a superstar!! She might even surpass Sarah's achievements if she could really make it at Ellen's.
Hello, ABS-CBN, Star Records and Charice's manager, opportunity knocks but once. I think Charice is worth every dime and investment and she deserve to be in that show. Do something about it! ASAP. Strike while the iron is hot. It doesn't happen all the time, not everyone of us are given a chance like this, so please, do everything in your power to have her guest on Ellen. She's made everyone of us so proud already.
